- Enlighten Teeth Whitening: Enlighten Whitening is a professional teeth whitening system that can only be prescribed by a dentist and is 98% successful at achieving a Vita shade B1 for every patient, delivering long lasting whitening results with low sensitivity. Enlighten Whitening can whiten up to 16 shades. It remains one of the easiest ways to enhance your looks. Enlighten has featured in numerous press articles and TV makeover shows. Enlighten products have been used by celebrities and is continually considered the gold standard for whitening. Results vary, but if used correctly all teeth will whiten dramatically.
- Boutique Whitening. Boutique Whitening is an award winning professional teeth whitening system that can only be prescribed by a dentist. The system is designed to fit in with your lifestyle. At Gardens Dental Centre we utilise the Boutique overnight whitening system, which will whiten your teeth overnight as you sleep. We use two strengths of gel in stages to deliver dazzling results.

Working in our patients best interests we require you to have undergone a dental examination within the last 6 months and have recent x-rays to manage or rule out any cavities or oral health issues that may need to be prioritised. Teeth whitening is not recommended for pregnant women and is safe during breastfeeding.
It is so easy to get started on your whitening journey. Your dentist takes a mould from which we can precision manufacture your bespoke whitening trays. You then decide with your dentist which system will best suit your lifestyle – apply the gel as directed to unveil your new brighter, whiter smile.
Results vary depending on the individual, but if used correctly all teeth will whiten dramatically and last from 3 months up to 3 years depending on your lifestyle. We recommend regular top ups to keep your smile bright but once you have your trays you can simply buy the whitening gel from reception.
Tooth sensitivity is a possible side effect after teeth whitening and is most often caused by the bleaching solution used to whiten teeth. This potential side effect of teeth whitening is usually short-term, and goes away with time. If you are concerned about sensitivity we recommend our Enlighten treatment solution, as each kit includes a special serum to prevent or treat sensitivity if it should occur. Moreover the Enlighten system is specifically designed to minimise sensitivity, as it is PH Neutral upon use.
Whitening works well on yellow natural teeth however it does not work on crowns, veneers, fillings, or bridges.
We strongly advise you only use professional tooth whitening solutions. Many people opt to use whitening products from beauty salons or ordered online – most of these products are illegal and can cause long lasting damage if used incorrectly.
